Service Fees	Professional fees are listed on our website. All professional fees are quoted in Japanese yen (JPY) and include Japanese consumption tax. Official fees payable to the Japan Patent Office (JPO) are charged separately.
Additional Costs	JPO official fees and any additional professional fees for services requested separately. Applicable fees will be disclosed before payment.
Payment Methods	Bank transfer via Wise or credit/debit card. Payment instructions will be provided by email.
Payment Timing	Payment is required in advance, before the commencement of services.
Commencement of Services	Services will commence after payment has been confirmed and all necessary information and documents have been received. The expected schedule will be communicated by email.
Refunds and Cancellations	Cancellation requests must be submitted by email. Refunds will be determined based on the stage of service completion at the time of cancellation, as follows: Before work begins: Professional fees will be refunded in full. After work has commenced: Fees for services already performed are non-refundable. Fees for services not yet performed will be refunded, subject to any cancellation charges permitted by applicable law. After filing with the Japan Patent Office (JPO): Professional fees for the completed filing services are non-refundable. JPO official fees that have not yet been paid to the JPO will always be refunded in full. Official fees already paid to the JPO are generally non-refundable.
Trademark Registration	Trademark registration is subject to examination and approval by the JPO. We do not guarantee that an application will result in registration.
